Why I Do It

Technology does not stand alone – it is a way for people to be better, faster and more effective.

I am an evangelist by heart. Explaining technology in a way that amuses, motivates, sparks discussions in people; this is my way of customer focus so that people can take technology and create opportunities that scale.

Technology is only an innovation...People are innovative. Coaching people to use technology as effectively as possible is what motivates me.

Motivating others and molding a positive company culture, creates a force multiplier, which is what sets companies apart from the rest in their industry, and are then seen as best places to work. It also happens to increase sales.

Each business needs to find that sweet spot between talent, culture, space and technology. This is where people produce and innovate the fastest. It also happens to increase high caliber talent acquisition and retention.

This is what motivates me…this is what I love doing.

I'm John Jahns

After a decade at Microsoft, where I helped enterprise organizations with 5,000-50,000 employees innovate and transform, I saw firsthand the challenges of innovation and transformation through holistic digital transformation. Organizations were getting bogged down with leadership alignment, cultural change, platform alignment, resistance to change, programmatic training, change management and a myriad of other challenges. Effecting impactful change with 50,000 employees, within scope is difficult, that’s why Microsoft included Innovation and Transformation resources like myself to help clients. 

Over the past 14 years, I’ve helped organizations with digital transformation, change management, and leadership strategy alignment. 

My holistic approach addresses everything from technology adoption and scalability, to leadership alignment and cultural change. I’ve consulted with hundreds of leadership teams and trained tens of thousands of individuals, ensuring lasting impact and resilience, in a world of constant technological acceleration and change.
